Suites and Conference Rooms

For conferences, larger meetings, briefings, product launches or training, KingsGate has three large suites, all equipped to the highest of standards and able to be configured to suit specific requirements. There are also seven smaller meetings rooms suitable for individual hire or for use as breakout rooms. Several include their own kichenettes and so can be fully self-contained.

Carmichael Suite

Our stunning new Carmichael Suite – opened in September 2014 – is located on the first floor and is a state-of-the-art and highly flexible space suitable for multiple uses.

It boasts 302 square metres of floor space with the ability to seat up to 350 delegates in theatre style, 200 banqueting or up to 180 cabaret.

Carmichael has a fully integrated PA and projection system, as well as a small stage with bespoke lighting, making it ideal for all kinds of corporate conferences, stake-holder presentations, training events and awards ceremonies.

The large windows on two sides of the Carmichael Suite – all with black out blinds if required – give plenty of natural daylight and so it is also an ideal environment for displays and exhibitions.

A staircase provides direct access to the Atrium and reception area. All first floor rooms also have lift access.

Seymour Suite

Our Seymour Suite – located immediately to east side of the Atrium – is a large and flexible space suitable for multiple uses.

It boasts 288 square metres of floor space with the ability to seat up to 250 delegates in theatre style, 180 banqueting or up to 120 cabaret.

Seymour has a fully integrated PA and projection system, as well as a small semi-circular stage with bespoke lighting, making it ideal for all kinds of corporate conferences, stake-holder presentations and annual awards ceremonies.

The large windows on two sides of the Seymour Suite – all with black out blinds if required – give plenty of natural daylight and so it is also an ideal environment for displays and exhibitions.

Carey Suite

A spacious and recently opened executive suite on the first floor (lift and stair access) with large panoramic windows over-looking the ground floor Atrium area.

Carey can seat approximately 150 theatre style or 65 cabaret, and makes an ideal location for those looking for a location that lends itself to executive presentations, product launches or press conferences. It has a fully integrated overhead-mounted  projector and retractable screen.

Spurgeon Room

Our spacious Spurgeon Room – directly accessible from the west side of the Atrium – is ideal for smaller conferences or team building events.

With 120 square metres of floor space it can accommodate up to 130 delegates theatre style or around 60 delegates cabaret style.

This light and airy meeting space has large windows and two entrance doors. Projection facilities can be supplemented by an integral PA system if required.

Audio Visual Equipment

Sound desk in the Carmichael Suite

The suites and large rooms at KingsGate Conference all have their own audio visual and control systems pre-installed. These can be set up to be operated by your own staff or meeting leader. Alternatively one of our knowledgeable in-house technicians can be hired to manage it for you.

Car Parking

KingsGate Conference Centre boasts a 400 space free car park with 20 dedicated disabled spaces.

Wheelchair Access

KingsGate Conference Centre has full disabled access to its venue, starting with a dedicated car park that leads directly to the front door. The main conference rooms are all on the ground floor on one level and those on the first floor are accessible by lift. There are dedicated disabled toilet cubicles.

WiFi

KingsGate has a free WiFi service throughout the building. For specialist use, dedicated links and ‘live feeds’ are also available on request, though these would be subject to a separate fee.

Child and Baby Facilities

Next to each set of toilets in the main corridors is a baby changing room.
